1960 Right-Hand Drive Giulietta Ti - $15,000 OBO

The car is a true tipo 10109 C.K.D. built in South Africa and has chassis number AR*00109*00595. It has 40,072 miles on it from new. The original owner took delivery of the car in late 1960 and kept it all these years until he sold it to the current owner two years ago. Thus, it is only the 54th completely knocked down right hand drive Giulietta T.I. made in series production by Alfa at their South African assembly plant in early 1960. The car has the original engine, seats, carpeting, headliner, etc. Scroll to bottom to view pictures of Vehicle

Some NOS items, sourced through AFRA, have been added:
  • New front side indicator light assemblies
  • New Carello tail light assemblies
  • New trunk pull and license plate light assembly
  • New hood spear
  • New ashtrays in dash and rear seat back
  • New dome light

Also installed new:
  • Tires
  • Knoi Shocks
  • Exhaust headers
  • Complete exhaust system
  • Rebuilt brake wheel cylinders front and rear
  • Fuel tank
  • Fuel lines
  • Rebuilt carby - a period proper Weber 36 DCD two barrel downdraft
  • Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, points, condenser, rotor and ignition coil with new ire from the fuse box to coil
  • And a new battery

The car appears to have never been hit front, rear or sides in any major way and tracks straight and true down the road.

There is some rust in the trunk floor, in the front cross members going out to the front jacking points (the rear jacking points are solid) and a very strange bit of rush in the lower part of the front crossmember that forms the radiator support on the left hand side of the car. The rest of the floorpans are incredibly solid and the rust in the trunk is centered over where the fuel tank sits, hence the spare tire well and the battery tray area on the right hand side of the trunk floor are solid as is the left hand side of the trunk floor. The only major item remembered missing are the rear suspension limiting straps.

The entire engine ignition system is new and taken care of and the car runs extremely strong and runs at half throttle at 70 mph, and pulls away strongly at this speed. the transmission shifts smoothly and the brakes really bit and dig in good with no drama and with excellent straight line tracking when coming to a stop. This car is a remarkable example of a 50 year old original one-owner never restored Giulietta. In many ways, it’s like a time-capsule from 1960.Dash #1Drivers Side Rear Three Quarter View #5Front View #6Passenger Side Rear Three Quarter View #3Passenger Side View #2
