1967 Guilia Super
L1000188

This is one of those stories that has to be told

L1000197

The car came to us not looking great but not bad

L1000246

As we started the tare down, the assumed condition became very clear.

L1000250

as the clues started to show up

L1000248

and more clues.

L1000274.JPG

L1000274.JPG

L1000783.JPG

Once the car came back from the blasters, the guess work was over.

L1000647.JPG

some one really did a lot of hide work.

L1000648.JPG

There wasn't a panel on it that was in sound shape

L1000649.JPG

As you look through the next photos, what would you do if this was your car.

L1000650.JPG

this owner stood behind this car a stuck with the commitment to make it right.

L1000651.JPG

That is an amazing thing when think about it.

L1000652.JPG

Knowing that everything, I mean everything needed to be serviced.

L1000653.JPG

Serviced or replaced.

L1000654.JPG

Replaced or made.

L1000655.JPG

Made because reproductions are not available

L1000656.JPG

And that was with what we could see.

L1000657.JPG

No telling what was lurking under the surface.

Most of the issues associated with supers can be fixed with reproduction parts

DSC_6972.JPG

The inner rocker is not one of them.

DSC_6929.JPG

If the inner rocker is rusted out, that requires massive hours of fabrication work to make right.

Here we seam sealed the stitch welded floors

IMG_1764.JPG

We use tape to keep the seam sealer clean on the edges

IMG_1766.JPG

Once the tape is removed the seam sealer looks very nice

IMG_1767.JPG

Now that the sealer is dry, its time to texture the floors

L1000913.JPG

The floors were textured in body color.

L1000914.JPG

Looks so much better then it did when we started.

The car has a 2 liter motor and it was decided to have GTA lower grill installed to help cool the motor.
